Proper nutrition is a key component that is often overlooked, or not given enough value, when trying to become a complete player. We understand the value of proper nutrition and how this can help take a player’s game to the next level. Players need to eat quality foods (vegetables, lean meats, specific fruits, etc) to optimize their game and body, both mentally and physically.
We can give recommendations on nutrition for players or direct players to a nutritionist in their area. If a player needs to spend time improving conditioning and losing weight, he will be on a diet that is different from a player who needs to add weight. These unique programs are extremely important to a player’s on-court success.
We have discussions with the players several times per month on the value of proper nutrition. We have an open dialogue with the players to make sure they understand which foods they should be eating and which portions are needed to meet their needs.
If you are staying at US Prep as a boarder we provide three meals a day plus pantry.
All meals are nutritiously designed to sustain you during the heavy training and playing sessions that are part of the daily schedule.
Prepared by our in house catering team the meals are served in the accommodations dining room.
